About Us

Kennett River Surf Life Saving Club is a community based organization made up entirely of volunteers, which provides a range of facilities and services to the community it caters for, namely: children, teenagers, adults and family group.   Kennett River Surf Beach is located at the mouth of the river, and the small sand beach is surrounded by the road, rocks and reefs.   This is a hazardous beach with permanent rips against the rocks, so stay between the flags if bathing. 

Patrol Hours

SUMMER - Begins 26/12/2023  to 28/1/2024

Weekends: 1-5pm Saturdays & 10am-5pm Sundays 

Public Holidays: Boxing Day , New Years Day, Australia Day 


EASTER & LABOUR DAY  PATROLS

Weekends: 1-5pm Saturdays & 10am-5pm Sundays 

Public Holidays: Good Friday, Easter Monday, Labour Day
